As a responsibility towards the government regulation regarding environmental preservation, Garda Tujuh Buana gradually conducts forced reclamation in export parts of the Pit 1 area.

Bunyu Island Here, in the northern of the central of an inhabited island, Garda Tujuh Buana conduct mining exploration. This location can be reached within approximately an hour by speedboat from Tarakan Port, Bulugan District, East Kalimantan Province.
